Exclamation Electrical Issues - Cluster - Tire Pressure, Door Ajar, Climate, and Radio (SJB?)

A few weeks ago, while driving, my car chimed, as if I had a door open. The instrument cluster showed a (!) light, parking brake, and a door ajar light. In the information display on the instrument cluster, the TIRE PRESSURE warning displayed, as well as the DOOR AJAR. At the same time, my information display (Time) went out, as well as my radio sound, and climate control functions (No AC). While driving, everything went back to normal again. This has been intermittent on and off now for weeks.

I pulled the Smart Junction Box (SJB). It was not wet, no corroded connections. I replaced it with a junkyard SJB for the same year, make, model, and trim. Same issues after I replaced it.

Other variables:

-I just had my mechanic replace a sensor to get my AC working again, this was about 2 months ago. Also had to swap aftermarket stereo out for the factory one after my mechanic dropped my aftermarket stereo.
-I also have a remote starter with questionable wiring (purchased this way).

ANY IDEAS? Thanks!!

Default similar issues

I've had similar issues, my fuel millage would go to zero km to empty, my speedometer would stop working then if you let off the gas it would stall while driving.. took it to a mechanic and they replaced the computer and dash cluster still the same issues. Took it to a Ford dealership and they have had the car for a month and called me the other day and said they can't figure it out and are talking with the Ford engineers.. They don't know what it is causing this to happen..

For what it is worth,

Fords do not like any kind of add on items, period !!

It would help if we knew what year your vehicle is.
A lot of folks are not aware of the problems add on items bring. This includes radios, remote start attachments and including some simple things like adapters for cell phones, charging points for other appliances etc. Some of these add on items will work for a while and then crazy unexplainable things start to happen. If you are experiencing some crazy things with your vehicle and have or are using any kind of electrical device not original equipment on the vehicle one sure way to verify this is to disconnect /remove the add on and allow the vehicle to adapt to the removal of a possible problem device. This problem has become epidemic and is driving techs up the wall looking for causes of problems. The amount of electronics in today's vehicles has made them more susceptible to stray electrical charges.

I had this exact problem on a 2011 Escape and could not find any solid advice to correct it... until now. The low tire pressure, door ajar and emergency brake indicator lights on the instrument panel would light up intermittently. The warning beeper would chime, dash signal indicator lights would stop working, radio volume would decrease and A/C would stop working. This drove my wife crazy and I thought I would have to scrap the car since I would not be able to sell it in that condition.
The following solution saved my car from the scrap yard. The dashboard cover above the instrument cluster can be removed to provide access to the electrical connector at the top right side of the cluster. Reseating this connector solved the problem.

I'm having the exact same issue with my 2011 Escape - I'll be happy if this simple fix works, it's been driving me nuts!!
