someone told me this is due to the slave cylinder going bad,i have looked and the hose from the master cylinder is going into the top of the transmission was hopeing someone could gve me an idea on how i have to change this it is an 87 ford ranger with fuel injection and a 4 cylinder

 

standard transmission?

give more information... you push in the clutch peddle and clutch not disengaging? you push in clutch and gearshift wont come out of the gear its in?

describe in detail what your problem is...

 

some of the japanese transmissions have the cyl. inside the bell housing or use a hyd. throw out bearing?you probley have a madza trans.

 

a 87 ranger uses a mitsubishi 5 speed. that one has the hyd line that goes in the top of the trans a mazda 5 speed the hyd line goes into the side of the trans
