Sometimes you can bend a coat hanger to slide between the door weatherstripping and car body, and have someone guide you while you try to hit the unlock button.

I am not locked out of the car I am locked out of the passive anti-theft system (PATS). Only have 1 key.

If your PATS kills starter only then you can bypass it.
1) Locate the S terminal on your starter solenoid, it's attached to the starter motor as shown below:

2) Do NOT use a screw driver and jump the B+ and S terminal, instead, get a battery jump start cable, one end of the red alligator clamp to the S terminal of your starter solenoid (black is not used)
3) Turn your key to ON or RUN position
4) The other end of red alligator clamp to your battery (+) post

What do you get?
- no crank no start (find a locksmith)
- crank no start (find a locksmith)
- crank and start (PATS bypass is possible)

If the bypass is possible, you need to ground either terminal 85 or 86 (Ford loves to use non-standard relay schematic) at the starter relay then you can setup the bypass permanently.
I don't have any electrical diagram for your vehicle, can't give you further details. But look at below diagram for a 2007 Taurus:

In this case you just need to:
1) depin or cut the PK (pink) wire that is attached to pin 44 of your PCM (you don't mess with the PK wire that's underneath the starter relay at your battery junction box (BJB))
2) attach this PK wire (the end from the BJB) to a good ground source permanently

Thanks for the info but no starter or fuel pump activity. By running the jumper to starter it will crank but no fire. You had some good info but it does not help my condition I have even tried EVO ALL but fortin said it is for remote start no failed PATS even though remote start bypasses PATS.

You are at the point of calling either a dealership or locksmith. Some will require proof of ownership before even starting to get it corrected.

There is no easy way out of this situation and anybody that has only one key can wind up in this situation sooner or later.

By now you should know , have the locksmith make 2 keys for you while there.

I do not know what happened, but PATS let me in. i figure I still have a problem it just lock me out and later with nothing changed it let me in. I had previously ordered a key fob from amazon an since I have ext lic FORScan I went to Home Depot and got it cut and came home and programed the keys. Also, if you go to a locksmith, they only make clone keys not two separates' keys as is needed when you need two keys to do stuff on your ride. A big THANKS to all who replied to problem.

You have to use a locksmith with security clearance so they can access the info to program replacement programmable keys.

Once you have 2 "working " keys you can program up to 8 keys yourself.

I have FORScan with extended license which give the all the abilities that ford garage can do which includes reprograming keys and most locksmith can only do a clone key which will not help you to future programming key because a clone is recognized as the first key also.
