2016 F 150 12v POwer outlet removal
I need to replace the 12v power accessory outlet that is to the right of the radio below the a/c vent. What is the easiest way to do this? Does the radio bezel and radio have to be removed or is there a tool to remove just the metal part of the outlet. Thanks in advance
Can;t tell without looking at the set-up.
But a little reminder, check in your owner's manual which fuse protects the power accessory outlet. It might be located in the power dist panel.
Don't know at this time if it is live,so make sure there is no power to it BEFORE attempting removal.

I have never had to replace one but I know Ford has a special tool for removing the power outlets without removing any trim panels, personally I would remove the trim panel and see if it can be removed without the tool.
