Losing power 2001 E350
All is well when we first start out but then we lose power and have to pull off the road turn truck off and go again did this 8 themes in 70 miles. We have vac leak mechanic fixed it cause when where not getting A/C from the dash. I can’t say for sure if that’s fix is causing all my problems now we did do basic maintenance like oil air filter and also replace fuel filter. Any ideas why this is happening?
Whatever is causing the problem is able to be reset by turning off the ignition.
There are many things that can be causing something like this.
To help from having to check the function of all the individual components and systems , the computer will provide a code number and that if present is supposed to provide some direction. Some of the codes will cause the "check engine" light to illuminate and also store the code in the computer.
Is the check engine light coming on?
Was your mechanic able to tell you if he was able to get any codes?
