I have a 2018 Ford Explorer and I also have Ford Pass on my phone. Recently I updated my system as per Ford. Since then, I have not been able to use Ford Pass to see what is happening with my vehicle. It tells me my vehicle's software is being updated. Vehicle controls will be unavailable for about 10 minutes while this update takes place. That has been over three months ago. I talked with someone at Ford and finally a person got on and checked access to my modem. He stated that I had a modem problem and it returned an error code:
FFM 50251. I talked with my dealer and the maintenance guy said he had not heard of this. This means I have to leave my car with my dealer for several days and they may not be able to fix it. Has anyone had any problems with something like this? If so, is this something that only Ford can fix?
