Is my ECM getting stupid?
2010 Interceptor, 78K miles. All of these functions failed at the same time: door locks, rear window defroster, door ajar indicator, and low tire pressure indicator. Individually, I can see it, but all at the same time seems odd. My first reaction is to "drain" by leaving the ground off the battery for a while. I looked at ECMs and saw the prices as doable, but do I need the hassle and expense? I've seen differing areticles on the ase of replacement from easy to difficult. I'm asking for help. Thank you in advance.
On some vehicles these functions are controlled by a BCM (Body Control Module)..
If this does not apply to your vehicle ,you might check for a poor ground connection that is common to those functions. May require a schematic wiring diagram.
