Yeah Hi Amanda - I am the proud new owner of a 2001 Ford Falcon Futura AU and it DOES have incredible fuel efficiency - even compared to my 1990 Volvo 740 which unfortunately dumped its coolant doing 110 Km/hr without me noticing. However the radios in these Futuras are not much chop. I've also replaced the serpentine belt tensioner which was making a racket. Other than that the car came with full service records totaling about 5 times what I paid for the car so I can't complain. I've had first gear (automatic) up to 100 Km/hr without redlining and yeah - if you love fast cars, I mean it's only a 4 liter Futura but when you put your foot down in first - low - and hold it there it does tend to take off. Certainly no four wheel garbage trucks - as I like to call 4WD's - can come anywhere near! Anyway I've been looking somewhere on this forum to put a couple of posts - one on replacing the serpentine belt tensioner without dismantling half the front of the car as per handbook instructions, and the other with some radio socket connection details that seem hard to come by. I guess this intro spot is not the place so perhaps you could advise me.
Cheers

Default I need 1955 F-100 brake parts

Hello, I have a 1955 F-100 that I got in 1975 when I was in the Navy. It is my favorite souvenir. But now I am having trouble finding parts for it. I need to get auto-adjuster rebuild parts and can't find them on the sites I used to get them from, ie Mid-fifty, Dennis Carpenter, MAC, sites like that. Does anyone know where I can find these parts?

I joined today and this is my first post. I have, however, visited often. You all seem to know how to get the most from the 2.0L, so there is an oppurtunity for me to learn.
To be honest, the engine is in a Miata, but the Miata guys have almost no interest in modifying the engine itself, so every question is answered with “get a 2.5” or “turbocharge it.”
My goal is to stay naturally aspirated. Once I get what I can N/A, I will move on to forced induction only if my appetite for speed becomes maniacal.
If you know of threads that you believe will help me, please feel free to post the link or the thread name.

Thanks,
BeachElephant
