Hi, I have a 2005 Explorer XLE and the message center keeps telling me I have a Door Ajar. I checked all the doors including the back and all are closed and I cleared the message. Is there a way to tell which Door Ajar switch could be bad? If I take it to a shop, will they be able to "read a code" and tell which door it is? I do not have a reader. This could be related or a different problem. The door lock on the driver's side works went the car is running and the key is in. If I stop the car and open the door the door lock on the driver's side stops working. However, if I reach over to the passenger side that door lock/unlock switch works. The key fob works and will lock and unlock the doors with the car running or not. Two different problems or are they related? Thanks for the help.
