Default 1992 Festiva L Dies when it warms up and wont restart until its sits for awhile...

I have a 1992 Festiva L with Manual Trans that starts up great and runs great until it warms up and then stalls. Pressing on the gas pedal does nothing when its stalls. It will crank great immediately after stalling trying to restart it but just cranks forever and won't start backup until its sits for a little bit. Once it starts back up it then dies after warming up again. I have replaced the fuel pump, fuel filter, ICM, distributor, cap & wires and coil and it still does the same exact thing after all that. I am going nuts trying to figure this out. I need help please!

If any of the three, fuel, spark at the right time, and air, are absent ,,,the engine will not run..

SO,,,,,we are pretty sure it is getting air, but need t0 verify it is getting fuel and spark to run.

One fairly easy way to check for fuel getting to the combustion chamber is to remove a spark plug and see if it is wet or dry. If wet, fuel is getting there,
If dry we have a fuel supply problem . Could be pump or injector problem. Before going further need answer to that question.

Based on your symptoms you might have vapor lock issue so check the separator first.

The measures I suggested are not a silver bullet nor a quick fix. They are part of a thorough diagnosis to determine the root cause of a problem.

Sounds like a tough issue you're dealing with. Have you checked the ignition switch and wiring? Issues there can cause stalling and no-start problems that might act up more when warm. Also, the EGR valve and vacuum lines are worth looking at. If those are stuck open it can cause stalling. Hope this helps narrow it down some. Keep us posted on what you find.
