Brand new expedition max lift gate won’t open after driving it. Alert came on the digital dash that liftgate was ajar but it wasn’t. Gate never released. Dealer has had it for two weeks. Please help!

 

There isn't very much we can offer,,, because it is all covered by warranty and anything done without dealership approval can void your warranty.

Maybe they just need some more time to troubleshoot the problem. Might be a good move to see if they actually are working on it at all.
