Default 1992 f250 5.8 4wd manual transmission won't start

1992 f250 5.8 4wd manual transmission. Just bought recently. Put a new battery on it it started and ran. Then I noticed that alot of emission vacuum lines where not connected. So I put them how they should go, changed plugs and wires and oil. Now will not start. Any help would be appreciated. Pretty sure the smog pump is disabled cause the lines from it have been cut.

Can we ask,,,,,when you changed the wires,,,,,,did you do them one at a time or all at once ?

The wires MUST go in a certain order or the vehicle may not start or will not run well at all..

There is a procedure which must start from a beginning like knowing where #1 cyl is on the dist cap to mention one of the items.

When you crank it over to start it `and it does not start, remove one or two spark plugs and see if they are wet or dry.

Depending on what you see there will help point us to an ign problem or a fuel supply problem.

Do you hear the fuel pump run for the usual one to two seconds when you first turn the key on? Yes/No ?
