Default 07 Ford 500 doesn't start or do anything when the key is turned into the on position

Greetings, hope this thread finds everyone well. Would someone be able to help me out with my car? I went to start the car and it didn't do anything. There was a vibrating sound coming from a component in between the antifreeze reservoir and power steering reservoir. It looks like a small canister with an electrical plug that goes into the front. When I unplug it the noise stops but the car still doesn't start. Seems like this component is what causing the car not to start. I've attached a picture of the engine compartment. Please let me know if the picture clear enough. The car ran perfectly earlier in the day. I did have the key in the on position with the with the car off earlier while I was trying to check the windshield washer pump.

Not sure about this, but not knowing how long you had the door open and key on consuming power from the battery, it just might have discharged the battery enough to prevent a relay or solenoid from making full contact thereby preventing the starter from functioning.
Sounds crazy, but is a good possibility. How long has the present battery been in your vehicle and are the connections at the battery clean?

Thank you for the reply! The battery is only 2 months old. We purchased it brand new. When I turn the key that particular component can use to make a rumbling sound. Do you know what that component is called that is in between the antifreeze reservoir and Powers steering reservoir? It has a plug in the front of it and when I unplug it the rumbling stops. Dear is plenty of power coming from the battery. Thanks again!

Send pic first.
You have a multimeter?
When your key in ON position what should be done? Your instrument cluster not illuminated? Please be specific.

Thanks for the reply. All lights building whistles go on with the key turned in the on position. I tried attaching a pic but not sure if it was successful.

No crank no start check Pinpoint-A.pdf below.

I noticed your ground strap maybe, and it's in wrong position perhaps. If and only if G100 (locate from diagram above) has no ground wire at it, then below diagram locate red arrow and move it to blue arrow (underneath) or where G102 at the very last diagram below. Make sure you wire brush and clean the connector as well as G102 very well before moving.
