3 day update : After 3 days of morning starting, all starts went well Started immediately and idled perfectly. Today the problem returned. Started but ran roughly, chugged and puffed then smoothed out after a couple minutes.
Had the new Foxwell 510 Elite scanner hooked up. I have the Ford app in it and it does show lots of stuff.
Only code was a P0191 fuel pressure regulator code during this rough running period. After it warmed up I scanned again an no codes, no P0191. Fuel pressure shows 39.2 psi which is what it’s supposed to be. Ran thru all the checks shown in the Ford app and everything passed.
BTW the fuel pressure regulator code is new and wiring to it looks good.
Anyway back to square one. It’s not consistent. Some days yes, some no. If anyone has any ideas let me know.

I know you didn't buy that tool to check for codes, so can you post the data it does show. That is what we are waiting for.
Oxygen sensor readings, fuel trim, RPM, and IAT, ECT, .Does it show desired fuel press and actual fuel press ?
It might be a little work ,but would like to see readings before starting engine and a few minutes after starting engine.
It is called DATA STREAM info.
Does it show module health and what modules your vehicle DOES have? Hope you made a wise investment.
When I said it would be a little work, what I meant was you need to print that info out on a page because can't expand the pictures to read all the info, thank you.
Enlarged the thumbnails for easier reading. If you need more Ford Specific info I’ll try and retrieve it. The above live data was with the engine warm and running well.
Having a problem trying to understand your tool's info.
Getting contradictory readings.
We know what oxygen sensor readings should be , but don't understand all the GIBBERISH that is being put out.
Maybe heiko can help since he recommended this GREAT tool !
If you can,,,,,,,,,,,, would like to see graph for bank 1 & 2 oxygen sensors 1 ,and graph for oxygen sensors 2 of banks1 & 2. Thank You.
DTC: 0
ECT: 178
STFT-B1: -2.3%
LTFT-B1: can't see you didn't capture this
STFT-B2: +0.8%
LTFT-B2: +13.3%
MAP: 5.4 psi
RPM: 653
O2 Voltage (B1S1): 0.7V
STFT-B1-S1: -1.6%
O2 Voltage (B1S2): 0.8V
STFT-B1-S2: 99.2% -> N/A
O2 Voltage (B2S1): 0.8V
STFT B2-S1: 1.6%
O2 Voltage (B2S2): 0.86V
STFT B2-S2: 99.2% -> N/A
Here’s the codes on cold startup. After it warms up I check again and no codes appear
Always "Key ON Engine OFF" (KOEO) when pulling codes.
Also, ECT at 178 is way too cold. The best is to drive on the freeway for 15 minutes. Why? You can have ECT at 200 but EOT (Engine Oil Temperature) is still at 120 and TFT (Transmission Fluid Temperature) at 100.
So the values above are still inaccurate and misleading. If you see EOT that's 200 then it's ready for sure but EOT might not be available in your car if it doesn't have that sensor or CHT.
The OBD's DTCs and Ford's DTCs you pull them separately.
You have History -> OBDII -> Ford -> Settings shown above, you need to select FORD then you read its DTCs.
Beside the same reading at higher ECT, you need 2 additional set of readings:
1) No load reading: Make sure engine is very hot, get just all the STFT and LTFT and rev it at 2500 RPM while idling with RPM and ETC shown (revving a cold engine is very bad)
2) Under load reading: Make sure engine is very hot, while driving preferably around 30 mph accelerate to 2500 RPM and screen capture the same thing shown as (1), so find a helper since this is NOT the OBDLink MX+. Also, don't worry if the STFT fluctuating since STFT is only for little reference, not that important.
No load or under load, HVAC off head lights off radio off (so do it during day time) and on (2) drive on a straight road (no left/right turn needed) and with OD (overdrive) ON.
