battery problem

my friend has an early 90's taurus i think she had some ignition work done but now every time she accelerates her battery light comes on i think is whats happening any suggestions thanx

Clean the battery cables and look for a bad alternator belt or a jumped brush in the alternator. Fuses are a last thing you might check.
