Covered under powertrain warranty, I want to say that goes for 5 years/60000 miles, whichever comes first.

If a dealer gives you any **** about you needing to pay for this repair, say no, talk to the service manager, call Ford Corp.
@AutoMechanic I've got a 08 Tacoma, can I hit you up for wiring diagrams when I need them?
