Hello Heiko and Hanky

so got my van back all back to normal issue was bank 1 catalytic converter 75% blocked, bank 95% blocked. They disconnected exhaust and pressure tested exhaust from manifold flange to the end and these were the readings coming out of the exhaust.

$1500 out the door
part was $900 labor two hours $370
diagnostic test $135
taxes

they also recommended transmission flush and fluid change same thing on engine so thats next on to do list

I have to say guys you are amazing for having so much passion for what you do and to help out all of us out here that struggle with auto repairs. I am truly grateful for all of your help and guidance will keep you on my so to say speed dial

Thank you for the update.
Suggestion,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Trans fluid and filter change always a good thing to do, per owner's manual schedule..

Trans flush not recommended. Stirs up "stuff" that can cause problems inside valve body, especially on older vehicles.

All those are from my alldata software and it covers any car up to 2007. It's copyrighted so I can't burn DVDs and sell or give away to anyone. If you need anything in particular please ask and I'm more than happy to share my alldata with anyone.

If your van is 10 years old and you have been changing the transmission oil routinely and it's not under heavy load (i.e. towing/heavy trailer), it's fine. When you are not the 1st owner and when it's 16 years old, don't flush it and take the risk. What I do recommend if you plan to keep this van for a while you should upgrade to a pan with drain plug (if yours doesn't have it).
