Default Need advice on my Ranger

I have a 1994 Ford Ranger and when it rains, water leaks under my hood and wets my ignition module. Then my truck won't crank until it dries out completely. I keep a plastic bag over it when I'm not driving it but this is no help when I have to get to work in the rain. Is there anyway that I can cover it for good, that would not melt? I hope one of you knows how to fix this.

Thanks

A good part of the time when moisture causes problems it is because there are poor connections to start with and the slightest bit of moisture can cause a voltage drop and the circuit will not work. It might be a good idea to thoroughly check all the plugs and connections for corrosion and apply some dielectric grease (available at most auto supply stores) to prevent moisture intrusion.
