Did not receive a reply to my last post but I finally figured what you meant by having all gears aligned in the tower before inserting the stick. Once I did that it works. So after a long post I thank you and everyone there for your help. You could not of been greater. Gordon

Is it working like it should or are you going to head on down to the liquor store ?
Just kidding , after all the work you did, the next one will be a piece of cake.
Don't get lost on us, there will be other guys doing this and you are the guy with first hand experience to offer advice. What do you think?

Just used my truck to get a Colorado Cool aide 6 pack "and killed it just to watch it die". Many thanks!

Doesnt that just unbolt from the top of the tranny inside the cab.

Yes, once you remove the floor plate covering the tower bolts are accessible. The 2 middle bolts are guide bolts that have a shoulder and thick washers. I assume you are talking about the shift tower?
