Focus Blower Motor won't work
Can anyone help me determin why my blower motor on my 02 Focuse SE won't work at all.
I've looked in the Haynes repair manual and it is not very clear where the fuse is. According to the manual I THINK, it's a 7.5amp fuse of which I've checked all that are in the inside of the car. Also checked all the fuses under the hood, those all look good.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Hello guys, I have similar problem on my Focus mk2.5 1.8tdci from 2008. My engine blower does not spin even with AC on. I checked that the blower does have the DC supply - it was ok (the diagnostics said something about circuit low - this DTC was introduced with some longer full gas). Then I checked the signal cable from ECU and it does not prowide any PWM signal (I checked the cable in the fuse box with an osciloscope. Previously the thin blue cable was disrupted, so that is why I check in fuse box) Any idea why the ECU does not send any PWM signal? Or have I missed anything else? Thanks for your help!

Be aware Ford does not usually have components grounded and provide power to make some motors operate.
The power is always there and the switch(s) provide the ground..
You may need to start at the switch to verify it is in good working order . If OK, remove the blower motor assy, (a few screws) provide power and ground to the motor itself .
It will either work or it will not. Depending on what you get will determine where you go from there.
