Truck will not turn over

I purchased a new battery one month ago. I used my remote to open the door. Put key in ignition, nothing. Ac ,radio works. I noticed antitheft

Can we get some addl info,
Year, model, miles, what is the anti-theft light doing, The more info the better.

That is fixed it has a new key cylinder. 2001 ford ranger xlt 6 cylinder.
