I have replaced vacuum solenoid for the egr valve when I done the egr valve and before I swapped the ecm from another truck I did check vacuum pressure with the gauge when the engine cold and so far leaks coming from egr solenoid and line

I got picture of vacuum line diagram

That EVE solenoid valve is supposed to be closed , preventing manifold vacuum from opening the EGR valve. That is why I suggested you remove the hose from the EGR valve and plug it. You can stick a screw or bolt in it. Drive the vehicle and see how it performs and if it still stalls, thanks.

I disconnected the vacuum line going to solenoid valve for egr I did test with a vacuum gauge I was getting 10 inches of vacuum and it sounded rough this time when I got it running but once I reconnected it I idle ok but when rev it let off the gas almost instantly dies but catches it is self

Please, just remove that hose from the EGR valve, plug it and drive your vehicle. That is a better test. Thanks..

Well new update I disconected egr vaccum line and drove it same surging and stalling happing even when the engine is not warmed up so next move I did check to see if Any lines were so far no vacuum leaks . I did some vacuum lines going to the vacuum tank and Vapor canister line going to throttle body and tried the rebuild ECM still stalls after reving up the engine so I put The ECM from the 302 back in for now and that one works good does not stall the engine out
I have done fuel filter change on it like 3 months ago
I have done idle air control valve last year
I am just wondering now if it’s wiring harness problem in my truck and what else is making the engine stall out after reving it up when it’s operating on 5.8 351W ECM
I assume it most likey electrical isuse becuase my truck has never done this before since I owned as of 2023 . I am wondering anyone`s got any ideas or thoughts on what else could be going with my truck because I have never encounter this kind of problem with the orignal 5.8 l pcm before

Quick update on my truck this morning. It was driving good yesterday and this morning until It stalled the going down to town it wouldn’t restart so I had to get it towed home this morning. Switch trucks I have changed out the air intake temp sensor and coolant temp sensor and well ignition control module my brother came at the right time but my we’re going to go check and see if there’s a good harness because my brother’s buddy has parts truck same year as my truck I think it’s the same harness on my truck. I’m just hoping to 351 I just think now my wiring harness is just toast now

So is it crank but no start now? Or start and stall in a second.

On my next episode Will not restart when warm but Will only start after cooled down My truck is a 1992 Ford F250 5.8 lt 351w ZF5 speed manual 4x4

My vin number 2FTHF26H5NCA71849 , My brother and me are getting a parts truck with the same year as my truck and same 351w engine and zf5 in it We are going to try the harness

I never had this happen when first got the truck since 2023 Is there a likely chance my engine harness is the problem ?
